Our government is comprised of various departments that each work to improve the quality of life of our Tribal members. Throughout our government, we support our elders, create a bright future for our youth, preserve the Tribe’s culture, help with medical and health needs, offer public safety, assist with various social services, provide solid administration, house a Tribal court system, offer enrollment services, employ nearly 300 people, keep our area clean and green, and protect natural resources. The Youth Department will be hosting All-Day Program tomorrow, May 26, for youth that attend Mt. Baker Schools with pickup times below. Evening drop-offs will depart at our usual 5:30 p.m. time.

5 Cedars: 8:40 a.m.Rutsatz: 8:40 a.m.Goshen: 8:45 a.m.

We will be at the Community Building in the morning for recreation and then lunch and will return to Timber Ridge at around 3 p.m. until the regular evening departure. The pick-ups and drop-offs for Nooksack Valley students are at their usual times. For more information, contact the Youth Department at (360) 966-9696.

Today will be warmer than Saturday with highs mainly in the 70s to lower 80s. Monday will be a bit warmer with highs in the 70s to mid 80s. Don't forget that the water temperatures are still cold, and that rivers are running fast. Be safe out on the water today and wear a life jacket!
