The Nooksack Tribal Health Department is happy to announce that the Nooksack Tribal Council approved expanded healthcare funding for enrolled Nooksack Tribal Members, no matter where they live.  The expanded healthcare service is designed to help fill the healthcare gaps created by Indian Health Services underfunded programs and our Community Health System geographical limitation policies.

 

The healthcare services will be available until the funds are exhausted.  Please download the Community Health Program Application for more information on the Community Health Fund and how to apply for it. This application form can be printed, completed and mailed to Nooksack Indian Tribe, c/o Jeff Bailey, P.O. Box 157, Deming, WA 98244. For more inforamtion contact:

The Nooksack Indian Health Department is committed to providing only the highest quality services, which are supported by a highly qualified medical staff. We strive for continuous improvement, with our goal and intent to raise the standards of health care within the Nooksack Tribal membership.

 

We have an outstanding and innovative ambulatory health care center that serves members of the Nooksack Indian Tribe and the Tribal Member community. In addition to our ambulatory services, we offer community health prevention and education services to our patients to ensure they receive health care to the fullest extent including, Medical, Dental, Community Health/Health Nursing, Mental Health Counseling, Chemical Dependency Counseling, Chemical Dependency Prevention and Contract Health Services.

 

Health Center Administration
The Health Center Administration has the responsibility and oversight of the administrative, fiscal, and programmatic functions of the Tribe’s health care system, ensuring that the highest level of care is provided to the Nooksack patients while promoting the collective and individual health status of our Tribal Members and their families.

The Clinic is located at 2510 Sulwhanon Dr., Everson, WA 98247. The Clinic’s mailing address is PO Box 157, Deming, WA 98244. The clinic phone number is (360) 966-2106 and the fax number is (360) 966-7227.

The clinic is open Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm and closed for lunch from 12:00PM to 1:00pm

Walk-ins are from 9:00AM to 9:45AM and 1:00PM to 1:45PM on a daily basis.

The clinic is closed on all recognized holidays.

FYI - Product recall linked SoyNut Butter to E coli infection: A second child has now been hospitalized in Wa State. Heads up on risk of E coli infection related to recalled food product. Please be aware and consider this source if you see individuals with possible E coli infection.
