Working Washington Small Business Emergency Grant

If you are a small business of 10 or fewer, you can apply for a Working Washington Small Business Emergency Grant of up to $10,000!

Who can apply?

Businesses need to have been in business for at least a year, have up to 10 FTEs, and this will help support. Non-profits are not eligible.

How to apply?

These grants are time limited so you will want to act fast. The application is on the site. Fill that out and then click on Whatcom County to send to:

What can the grant be used for?

Grant funds can be used for operational expenses such as rent, supplies, inventory, utility bills, consulting, marketing, training. They cannot be used for payroll, travel, office or capitalized equipment, computer software.

Federal Small Business Relief

Paycheck Protection Program

This is a loan that helps you keep workers on payroll. If you keep workers on payroll for 8 weeks and use the funds for payroll, rent, utilities, you may be able to have the loan forgiven.

Economic Injury Disaster Advance Loan

This is a loan of up to $10,000. It’s a relief to businesses currently experience a temporary loss of revenue. The program states it will not have to be repaid.
