Council Declares Public Health Emergency

Nooksack Indian Tribal Council passed a resolution (3/7/2020) declaring a public health emergency for coronavirus (COVID-19), appointing Dr. Frank James as our Public Health Officer. An execution of a mutual aid agreement to come for Tribes and local health jurisdictions in Washington State. This will help our Tribe coordinate an emergency response if and when COVID-19 comes to our Tribe.
