Agreement to the following Terms of Use is an express condition of permission to access the electronic Tribal Code Book (the “Tribal Code”) of the Nooksack Indian Tribe (the “Tribe”). By accessing the Tribal Code located on this website, you hereby acknowledge and agree that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by the following Terms of Use. You further agree that these terms are reasonable and that, absent the protections that they provide to the Tribe, the Tribe would not provide electronic access to the Tribal Code.

  1. Ownership and Management: This website and the information contained herein are the sole and exclusive property of the Tribe. The Tribe may alter or remove the content contained in the website at any time and makes no representation or warranty that the content of the website will remain available.
  2. Purposes: The content of this website is presented for educational, cultural and research purposes for the benefit of the members of the Tribe, tribal staff, and general members of the public. Nothing in this website constitutes legal advice. If you need legal advice, you should consult an attorney.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Representations: Although the Tribe generally makes a reasonable effort to keep the electronic Tribal Code up-to-date, the Tribe cannot ensure that the electronic Tribal Code as available on this website accurately reflects the laws of the Tribe as presently in effect. While the Tribe makes every effort to ensure that the website is updated promptly as tribal laws are amended, it is the responsibility of the user to confirm that a given law is current. Questions regarding the statutes may be directed to the Office of Tribal Attorney, 360-592-4158.
