New Nooksack Victims of Crime Program Seeking Community Input

Family Services

Katrice Rodriguez, MSW, Nooksack Youth & Family Services Director

We are currently working on a community needs and strengths assessment to help develop our new Domestic Violence program. Nooksack Indian Tribe and the Bellingham Whatcom County Commission on Sexual & Domestic Violence are holding interviews and sharing circles in January and February 2020 to help find out more about the strengths and needs around domestic violence, sexual assault, and elder abuse services in the Nooksack community.

If you have had personal experience with these issues, we invite you to share your story and help make sure that the Victims of Crime program will be effective and supportive for all those who need it.

All participants receive a $50 gift card for their time.  Food, childcare, and transportation assistance are available.
