RFP – Request for Proposals for Estate Planning Attorney
The Nooksack Indian Tribe is soliciting proposals for an Estate Planning Attorney to conduct several yearly estate planning clinics for the Nooksack Indian Tribe, to include occasional “emergency” appointment(s). The Estate Planning Attorney is responsible for all aspects of the estate planning process, including scheduling, client intake, drafting documents, and conducting on-site estate planning clinics in Deming, WA. Home visits for non-mobile clients is also required. Requirements include: familiarity with Federal Indian Law and tribal laws governing real and personal property with an emphasis on trust, and restricted land, experience with tribal governance and compliance as well as Washington State laws. All applicants must be Washington State bar licensed attorneys in good standing. Applicants must include a Cost Proposal and current Fee Schedule, along with an Outline of Experience working in Indian Country and Estate Planning.
